Alternative To Meds Center is an immersive, holistic lifestyle education and change experience. Our fundamental and founding observation is that the natural and most fundamental state of a human is an innate state of biophysiological and neurophysiological well-being. Since it is, achieving psychological well-being is a natural by-product of returning to a proper neurochemical balance.

During your stay with us, you will participate in targeted nutritional therapy based on your current, unique brain chemistry. Working with collaborating licensed practitioners, they will apply simple blood tests to determine current physiological concentrations of specific neurotransmitters to determine your baseline, and, having done this, prescribe what is required to achieve a stable balanced state. During this process, they will reduce your medications as your body reestablishes its ability to generate proper balance on its own. In addition, as part of an overall lifestyle change to elicit normal production of the necessary neurotransmitters, you will immerse yourself in yoga therapy, acupuncture, nutritional and lifestyle counseling and education experiences, along with sauna-based physiological detoxification, to rid your body of accumulated toxins from your normal, modern life.

The consistent result for our participants is the end of dependence on psychopharmacological and psychoactive substances.
