Due to its gentle yet delicate formulation, it retains many of the usable phytonutrients.  The most significant benefit with this specific tart cherry is that it is a good source of melatonin.  Melatonin has been associated with improved quality regular circadian (sleep) rhythms. The “flash pasteurization process” kills only surface bacteria and ensures this tart cherry extract does not lose all of its  beneficial qualities.
