Lab Tests
Lab Tests Include:
- 2 Toxicity tests- pre and post treatment
- Complete Metabolic including Liver Function
- Complete Blood Count with Differential
Other tests may be requested by the doctor after the first visit, and the cost of those tests would lie outside of the standard program fees.
C.B.C. with differential — Complete blood count with a percentage count of the five major types of white blood cells. Increases or decreases of these counts are used to diagnose certain medical conditions, such as weakness, fatigue, bruising, anemia, infection, and many other disorders.
Comprehensive Metabolic Panel —
Description:
Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP) measures blood sugar levels, liver function, kidney funtion, electrolytes, and protein levels
Test Includes
- Alanine aminotransferase (ALT/SGPT);
- albumin:globulin (A:G) ratio;
- albumin, serum;
- alkaline phosphatase, detects and monitors liver and/or bone disease.
- aspartate aminotransferase (AST/SGOT)used to asses for coronary occlusive heart disease or liver disease;
- bilirubin, total,evaluates liver function
- BUN measures liver function and indirectly to assess renal function and glomerular filtration rate
- BUN:creatinine ratio;
- calcium evaluates parathyroid function and calcium metabolism.
- carbon dioxide, total;
- chloride, serum;
- creatinine, serum;
- globulin, total;
- glucose measures blood sugar levels
- potassium, serum;
- protein, total, serum;
- sodium, marker for fluid and electrolyte balance
Urine Toxic Elements─ Heavy Metal Toxins and Essential Minerals Testing
Genova Diagnostics
Urine toxic and essential elements analysis is an invaluable tool for the assessment of retention of toxic metals in the body and the status of essential nutrient elements. Toxic metals do not have any useful physiological function, adversely affect virtually every organ system and disrupt the effectiveness and balance of nutrient elements. Analysis of the levels of toxic metals in urine after the administration of a metal detoxification agent is an objective way to evaluate the accumulation of toxic metals. It is common to observe a chronic, low-level exposure to toxic metals that can result in significant retention in the body that can be associated with a vast array of adverse health effects physical and mental. In many cases, mental effects precede physiological changes. To discover the presence of toxins, the doctor administers DMSA or DMPS challenge, usually by injection. These compounds have a high affinity for specific metals, and function by sequestering “hidden” metals from deep tissue stores and mobilizing the metals to the kidneys for excretion in the urine. Through this method, we can discover if toxicity, specifically to heavy metals, may be contributing to the state of ill health. We can then prep the patient for their removal though the sauna purification or in some cases, ongoing Intravenous therapy.
